Our Company
137 clothing company started in 2002. As we researched how to begin, we found each of our friends fit a different role of the company and so we moved forward. Through the years many of our friends have haven taken on roles to help move us into different directions. Because of this structure we are less like a company and more like an association of people with common goals. The last eight years have brought many new faces, friendships, and ideas that we couldn't have achieved on our own. We are thankful for all of our friends who have helped us along the way and are excited to move forward and make new friends with new ideas and innovations.
Our goal from the start has been to create quality designed clothes that have a meaning behind them. Expression, collaboration, social creativity, and community are a vague baseline of what we represent. These ideas could promote anything from; art to science, or chess to snowboarding. We believe as the market becomes saturated with clothing companies that consumers will look for clothes respective of who they are, or what they believe, rather than who created it.
